New teacher, Courtney Ann Roberts

Eastlake Yoga welcomes Courtney Ann Roberts, who completed the 
Recovery Café Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour yoga teacher training 
under John Wilson in 2011. Energy,attentiveness, and sweat can be expected in her classes. With an upbeat and lighthearted style of teaching, Courtney loves to use simplicity with the breath to challenge students of all levels in each class! 
Courtney's class, Hatha: Early Bird/Strong, meets Tuesdays from 6 - 7:15 a.m. This class is appropriate for experienced beginners. 
There are now four Hatha: Early Bird classes being offered. The others (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) taught by Jill Shelby, are moderate level 
and meet from 6:30-7:45 am.

New Evening Hatha Class 
A new class begins Wednesdays from 6:30-7:45 p.m., called Hatha Yoga - RootsIt focuses on essential asanas (postures), both standing and seated, that connect us more deeply to the earth and our inner selves. They require balance, flexibility and strength to bring us steadiness, comfort, and effortlessness in class and daily life. Taught by John Wilson, this replaces the Wednesday evening meditation class.

Eastlake Yoga provides instruction in the Hatha and Kundalini yoga traditions of T.S. Krishnamacharya and Yoga Bhajan. The effectiveness of the yoga at Eastlake Yoga is a result of the skilled teachers. They have all completed additional training, received certification in their respective traditions and are committed to their personal practice. Each is an independent contractor for Eastlake Yoga.
